Reading
1. The general idea of Mindset: The New Psychology of Success is how to constantly grow as a person in life and have a good mindset about things. It teaches you to correctly think clearly about situations and obstacles in life.
2. This enhanced my learning with ENT 3003 because it teaches me to never give up. It is a helpful entrepreneurship because it allows an aspiring entrepreneur to focus on the changes and growth they've made as a person rather than the failures they've approach. Even with the class, if I didn't do an assignment, I usually dwell on that and it brings down my whole mood. After reading the book, it taught me to change my perspective and that my success isn't based on accomplishments, but rather personal solutions with situations.
3. An assignment I would design for the class would be one of a personal reflection. I would make students pay attention to the way they speak; to make sure they don't gloat about intelligence or knowledge that they have. This will allow you to put yourself in the shoes of your peers and think about why they think the way they do and adapt yourself to their mental state. If they are wrong, instead of telling them they are wrong, rethink their thought process and approach the conversation differently.
4. There wasn't really much that surprised me. I felt the book was pretty repetitive. When it comes to reading self help books, the same concept is expressed, just in different ways. I don't feel that I learned anything differently than I have from other self help books. It's just a matter of actively reading and listening to them enough to implement them into your life.

Adi, the book you choose to read for this assignment seems like it has lots of very valuable information that can be applied to our lives. I really like how you were able to make connections between the material in the book and your life personally. It appears as it will definitely help you to succeed in this course and if you can take these lessons and apply them to the rest of you time at UF I am sure it will be smooth sailing for you. Keep up the great work!
