My solution to the problem of the lack of American clubs for study abroad students in Italy is starting a club in the middle of Rome. Providing the students with decently priced drinks, good music, and a relatable feel would create a great experience for Americans abroad. The club would have a DJ, good lighting set and an enforced dress code, to provide those in attendance an "exclusive" feel. I believe that creating a brand behind the bar would also be essential to attracting customers and repeat customers, so an instagram-able experience is crucial. A photo booth, maybe even live dancers, and definitely promoters nearby every American campus location would be key to bringing in a good crowd of people to experience this new and elite club.
Hello Adi. This is a very interesting and creative idea. It's cool that you identified this opportunity in a place so far away. I agree that American students would probably enjoy what this club has to offer considering there would be so many familiar things to attract them. However, I wonder if there are really enough American customers in Rome to support a club targeted on that very specific group. It is definitely possible though. Overall, great job.
